We have been using Galcont™ since 1980, and it has proven extremely reliable in practice. The system benefits from the most advanced hardware and software components in automation technology. Thanks to its decentralised modular structure, the system is compatible with both new and old plants.

Process control system optimises quality and energy efficiency

Process control systems are designed to keep quality at a consistently high level by measuring, monitoring, and controlling process conditions.

Galvatek’s process control systems monitor the pH, temperature, level, and conductivity of the process baths, for example. The information is used to keep process conditions optimal while minimising energy consumption.
Process control systems ensure that every treatment follows the correct parameters. The automated reports produced for every treatment ensure a detailed treatment history.

System configuration

Galvatek uses high quality industrial PCs to run the Galcont system. These industrial type PCs are much more less prone to errors than the home PCs we are used to. The PC itself can be doubled and a UPS power backup system is delivered as standard. Even if a fault occurs, the automation system has built-in ring buses that allow faults to be bypassed in order to complete the process.
